This condo’s kitchen transformation is simple, yet modern.
Making the most of the space (i.e. open concept floor plan and high ceilings) allowed the homeowners to explore endless possibilities. They opted for two-toned cabinets with glass panes on the top cabinet doors, which allowed for more custom lighting to the space. The black stone countertop works perfectly with these cabinets as it brings a little luxury to the room, all while making it look warm and inviting. Different commodities were also added to the space, like a recycling nook, a hidden drawer behind the kitchen’s kick plate, a spice rack next to the stove top, a Lazy Susan in the corner cabinets, a Lemans system for those cabinets, and more. The homeowners also thought about adding a little wine cellar!
The undermount sink was placed nearby the lunch counter so that the dining room and living room can be visible while food is being prepared, even while entertaining guests. We’re also big fans of the custom glass pane credenza. It adds continuity to the space. As for the kitchen’s backsplash, the family chose a marble hexagonal tile, which is all the trend right now.
The renovations were beautifully completed by one of our 360° Verified Contractors and their team. This new kitchen was well worth the investment!
