Most bathroom reno clients start with a common goal: upgrading the aesthetic. The Gauthier family in Levis, Quebec, was no different. They dreamed of having a bright contemporary bathroom on the second floor of their home.
To bring their vision to life, the Gauthiers called RenoAssistance to find them a qualified bathroom renovation contractor for their project. As usual, the existing bathroom was demolished and the plumbing and electrical were redone. Then it was time to tackle this renovation!
Simple choices, bold outcomes!
This bathroom reno’s colour palette is to die for! Bold and contrasting black and white are offset by luscious yellow accents and wood, making the space rich in depth and texture. To tie it all together, the client opted for unique black hexagon tiles with white grout. For a bit of brightness, they went with classic subway tiles and black trim for the shower.
Also, there’s no reason to settle for one wall paint colour when you can have two! The black wall draws attention toward the vanity and its accessories, while the white wall bounces light around the room. Sometimes simple choices garnished with bold accessories or contrasting colours are an easy way to make your space inviting and luxurious!
Unique and modern
As the bathroom renovation contractors were nearing the project’s completion, it was time to bring out the finishes. Hints of gold can be found on the faucet and round vanity mirror. We love this unique colour for hardware: it fully embraces modern aesthetic.
Bathroom renos don’t have to be boring. In fact, playing with colour, especially contrasting colours, is key to creating an original design. The mustard yellow towels and rug pair perfectly with the wooden vanity to add warmth and personality to the space. This renovation is a perfect example of using well-placed pops of colour for outstanding results!
