A water leak provided the perfect opportunity for a much-needed makeover! The end goal for this house was to keep its authentic feel while giving it a stylish modern upgrade.

CanExel, a material composed of wood fibers that perfectly imitates the grain of real wood was chosen to replace their old acrylic coating. This new robust material is not easily impacted by harsh climate variations and has much higher resistance to high winds than natural wood. All windows and doors were changed for new ones and a patio door was installed.

By changing the large windows at the front for ones with black aluminum frames and by coating the house in more neutral tones, the house has a more modern look and stands out from the other properties in the neighbourhood.

This transformation will certainly inspire everyone!
