Ruest | Kitchen project
A beautifully customized kitchen
Seeing as the Ruest family are planning on selling their home in the near future, they decided to renovate their kitchen (10’x15′) at a great price. They not only wanted to increase their property’s value, but also be able to enjoy it until it sells.
They made the beautiful – and wise – choice in materials. To be able to get a great price and look for their kitchen, they opted for Ikea cabinets (Bodbyn collection in off-white) that were installed by the contractor according to the homeowners’ plans. They also added a laminate countertop that beautifully imitates the look of granite. As the kitchen’s space was quite small, they chose a single sink to make the most of their counterspace. A gorgeous chef-style chromed faucet was installed to give the sink a sophisticated touch. Another way they saved space was by adding a hood range and microwave combo.
The space was embellished with a backsplash that also serves to protect the wall from cooking splatters. As for the floor, ceramic tiling was chosen because of its durability and ease of maintenance. The lighting consists of pot lighting and some suspended light fixtures above the longer part of the counter.
Our price tag includes the four glass-paned doors, their framing and painting. They were all installed by our 360° Verified contractor.
The clients provided the sink, faucet, hood range and microwave combo, as well as the backsplash and floor tiles. The Ruest family also renovated their bathroom. You can find their bathroom on our bathroom Reno-Inspiration page under Ruest Project.
